Vacheron Constantin is the oldest watch manufacture in the world with an uninterrupted activity since its founding in 1755, more than 260 years ago. Vacheron Constantin was founded in September 17th, 1755 in Geneva. A young watchmaker decided to host an apprentice to train and transmit him all his know-how. This fact would mark the history of the Manufacture throughout the centuries. Since its birth, it continues designing, developing and producing exceptional timepieces faithful to three fundamental aspects of the Maison: perfect mastery of the techniques, inspired and harmonious aesthetics, and a high level of finish.

A sample of this commitment with excellence is the long relationship that the Manufacture has with the Hallmark of Geneva, subjecting their watches to strict quality controls from the early 20th century. Although the faithful Vacheron Constantin customers and experts don’t need this guarantee, it is a precious attribute of mechanical watches of the Maison. In 2016, all Vacheron Constantin watches hold this seal of quality.
